Today, February 24, the Head of the National Police of Ukraine Ihor KLYMENKO gave such order to the Heads of the Main Departments of the National Police of Ukraine in the regions.
Veterans of Internal Affairs who are ready to defend Ukraine will receive weapons. The procedure will be simplified as much as possible due to the aggression of the Russian Federation, since the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the decision to impose the state of martial law in Ukraine.
The issuance of weapons to the veterans is aimed at strengthening the activities of Ukrainian law enforcement authorities to ensure law and order in Ukraine.
Reminder: earlier, the Head of National Police of Ukraine raised all the units on combat alarm. Police are protecting law and order, and asking citizens to remain calm and trust only official information.
